Context
HEC Paris works with KYMA for audiovisual production across three social entrepreneurship programmes — Stand Up, UP and ESS. Each programme supports women and entrepreneurs in building their own businesses and finding emancipation through entrepreneurship, with a strong social and solidarity-driven dimension at the core.
Mission
Promoting the programmes, recruiting future cohorts and giving visibility to these trajectories — filming women who dared, who created, who transformed their lives through entrepreneurship. Each film seeks authenticity: the emotion of a genuine testimony, the power of an immersive portrait filmed in the environment of the business they built.
PORTRAIT SERIES — STAND UP
Stand Up is an HEC Paris programme dedicated to women who want to build their independence through entrepreneurship. KYMA produced a series of individual films — each portrait follows one entrepreneur in her own environment, weaving immersive footage of what she has built with a face-to-camera testimonial about her journey.
PROGRAMME FILMS — STAND UP, UP & ESS
Corporate films designed to present the programmes, explain their mission and recruit future cohorts. Short-form face-to-camera testimonials from women entrepreneurs built for social media, alongside motivational films for participants currently enrolled in the programmes.
PROGRAMME FILMS — UP & ESS
UP and ESS are two HEC Paris social entrepreneurship programmes — one dedicated to committed entrepreneurs, the other to the social and solidarity economy. KYMA produced the presentation films for both programmes and covered the ESS graduation ceremony, all designed for digital recruitment of future cohorts.
Production & Organisation
KYMA handles direction, cinematography and editing across all HEC Paris productions. Shoots take place at the Stand Up, UP and ESS programme facilities within HEC, at training locations and events — as well as in the entrepreneurs' own professional spaces, their shops, studios and offices, grounding each portrait in the concrete reality of what they have built. Each film is delivered in multiple versions: long-form institutional cut, short-form social media edit, and subtitled version for international distribution.
